Feeding Guidelines

Tailored Nutrition for Every Dog: Feed Right, Live Well.

HOW MUCH DO I FEED?

We understand that every dog is different. In general, we recommend that your dog consume around 2% to 3% of its body weight per day. For example, a dog weighing 5kg should eat approximately 100g of food per day.

For puppies from 8 weeks of age, they will ideally need between 4% to 6% of their overall body weight, spread over 3 or 4 meals per day. At around 9 months of age, you may gradually reduce the portion to the recommended adult diet.

These guidelines take into account that every dog is unique, depending on their lifestyle. Active dogs may require more food, while less active dogs may need smaller portions. You should adjust your dog’s meal sizes accordingly.

FEEDING GUIDELINES:

Small Dog: 100g per day (Adults weighing up to 4.5kg)

Small to Medium Dog: 200g – 300g per day (Adults weighing between 4.5kg to 11.5kg)

Medium Dog: 300g – 400g per day (Adults weighing between 11.5kg to 22.5kg)

Medium to Large Dog: 500g – 700g per day (Adults weighing between 22.5kg to 35.5kg)

Large Dog: 700g+ per day (Adults weighing 35kg or more)

HOW DO I INTRODUCE THIS DIET TO MY DOG?

Many dogs adapt to a raw diet without any issues. However, we recommend a gradual transition. Start by feeding 3/4 of your dog’s usual food in the morning, and 1/4 of the appropriate portion of raw pet food later the same day. Follow this routine for about a week for a smooth transition.

IMPORTANT TIPS:

  • Each portion of our Raw Pet Foods is hand-made and weighed, ensuring precise portions.
  • Unused portions of a bag can be stored in the fridge or freezer until the next meal.
  • Once defrosted, any portion should not be refrozen.
